About Us: Leadership Team
Catherine Oliven is the founder and President of Cross-Check Communications. In 1993, she started the company, melding her 15 years of experience as a telecommunications manager and a floor trader at the Chicago Board of Trade. For over a decade, the company filled a unique niche verifying voice recordings for brokerage firms on the trading floor, checking upwards of 10,000 calls per week.
Today, the company has evolved in to a firm that delivers turnkey telephone recording solutions, recording over 15,000 per day. It specializes in continuous, reliable recording of highly sensitive information. Building on her MBA in Finance and interest in information systems, Ms. Oliven has shaped the company into a value-added service provider that help customers maintain and manage the vast array of information they record and store.
Ms. Oliven partners with like-minded entrepreneurs who share her passion for quality and integrity. She is proud of her team and likes coming to work.
Ms. Oliven has a beautiful daughter in college with whom she likes to play 20 questions in Spanish. She is walked daily by her boxer dog.

Bruce has over 28 years of experience in technology product management, sales and marketing. Prior to co-founding OrecX Bruce worked at Stevens Communications and Eastman Kodak.
Steve D. Kaiser
Co-Founder
Steve has 28 years experience in voice recording technology sales and support. Prior to co-founding OrecX, Steve founded Stevens Communications, the North American channel partner for Nice Systems.
Bruno Haas
Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer
Prior to co-founding OrecX, Bruno successively worked as a software architect in electronic warfare, high capacity optical switches and advanced speech processing systems at Thales, Nortel and Autonomy Systems.
Ralph Atallah
VP – Product Development
Ralph has over 20 years experience in software and product development as well as in project management. Prior to joining OrecX, Ralph was involved in two start-ups and was instrumental in helping deliver quality software and hardware products. He led multi-disciplinary teams of engineers to successful development of Network Management Systems as well as satellite terminal products.
Craig McCue
VP – Sales & Business Development
Craig has over 17 years of experience in technology sales and marketing. Craig began his career with OrecX as a sales representative and intiated OrecX's international sales and channel efforts before being promoted to Vice President. Prior to OrecX, Craig worked at Stevens Communications and Kraft.
Omar Ramsaran
VP – Customer Support
Omar has over 15 years of I.T. support experience, managing computer networks and helpdesk teams. Prior to working at OrecX, Omar managed support teams for both internal and external customer support at various SMBs in a mix of industries, from transportation logistics to software developers. Omar worked at IBM Canada in desktop support, and then at Epicor (formerly NSB) supporting and implementing Retail Management and Point of Sales systems for chains such as Gymboree, Tommy Hilfiger and Build-a-Bear.
Mark Wiater
Principal
Mark started in IT over 28 years ago. He has successfully deployed creative solutions for the unique security and IT infrastructure needs of a multitude of customers seeking to improve their use of technology. Greybeam achieves this by implementing best practices that enhance security, reliability and availability, while simultaneously reducing the total cost of ownership. Mark founded Greybeam in 2005 to bring his expertise to a wider audience.

Oliven Consulting was founded in 2009 in Charlotte, NC to meet the demand for executive-level IT experience, knowledge, and results without the expense of a full-time CIO. Greg Oliven honed his expertise over 20+ years in a series of progressively high-level IT management positions, enterprise software sales, an executive MBA, and hands-on experience.
